I stayed here with friends after a night out in Bristol. Dan and the whole team really couldn’t do enough for us. We enjoyed some drinks in the bar and also breakfast the next morning which was excellent. Beds were comfortable and the location suited us perfectly.
Quirky but nice. Food good. Room for three in big double room. Need to check their misleading signs. Double up on spirits £2. Yes if you buy a mixer: in malt whisky??. 20% off everything during freshers fortnight. Not for oldies it isn't.

I’ve been coming to the channings in Clifton for many years now And I’ve got to know many of the staff mainly Meg I’ve known for 5+ years and never disappoints to put a smile on your face an amazing service That includes Brad, who was very helpful and gives you a right laugh ‘ when his cars working’ Taylor helpful funny and kind. very nice team in Channings clifton Also genral manger Dan is genuinely the man good people
The staff here are all so lovely. They are polite & kind. Nothing is ever too much for them to do, to make you feel very welcome. Ive been lucky enough, the few times i have been here, Taylor has been amazing, making sure im comfortable & that i have a drink in my hand, never having to wait long to be served. Any questions i have Taylor is on hand to answer. She is one of the best bar tenders here. x
